Hi, Could you tell me what colour grout was used in the photo - behind the Perle Noir tiles? Thanks. Our Advice

Good Afternoon, Unfortunately, due to the picture coming from our manufacturer, we will not be able to get this information. I would like to recommend Mapei Ultracolour Plus 110 Manhattan Grey Tile Grout 2 Kg Per Unit. I personally think this is a close match to what is shown in the picture. Kind regards,

Are these tiles suitable for indoor and outdoor use? ie in a kitchen and out onto a patio? ThanksOur Advice

Hi Fabienne, These tiles are porcelain so can be used internally and externally. They have an R10 anti-slip rating which will provide a small amount of slip resistance in wet conditions. But we would recommend obtaining a sample to test whether the grip of this tile is sufficient for your requirements, before making your final decision. For external use, we would usually advise a tile with a rating of R11, so if you wish to discuss other possible options, please call our sales team on 01536 314730 or request a callback here: https://ideas.wallsandfloors.co.uk/request-a-callback and they will be more than happy to assist you. Would these be suitable for a wet room floor? Our Advice

Hi Alex, Being porcelain they are completely impervious so can be used in wet areas. The texture of these tiles provide a barefoot anti-slip rating of CAT-A. We would usually recommend B or C however, everyone's degree of anti-slip requirement will vary. This tile will provide some grip but we would recommend obtaining a sample to test and ensure it is suitable for your personal requirements before making your final decision. Regards Walls And Floors

Do these have any texture to them like real slate? Our Advice

Hi Lucy These tiles do have a very faint slate riven texture, but we would recommend obtaining a sample to ensure suitability before placing your main order. Regards Walls And Floors

Hi, are these tiles suitable for bathroom floors? It's a grade A anti slip which means for non wet areas but then states R10. Also it implies not all of these are sealed is this correct? ThanksOur Advice

Hi Elaine These tiles are fine for all residential/domestic foot traffic and suitable for bathroom floors, the matt textured surface of these tiles gives a degree of slip resistance, but we would recommend you order a sample first though to make sure you are happy with the colour and finish. These tiles are also glazed so sealing would not be required. However in potentially damp areas, you could help against grout discolouration, with the use of the LTP Grout & Tile Protector: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/ltp-cleaning-protecting-ltp-grout-tile-protector-sealer Regards Walls And Floors

Could these tiles be laid on top of existing tiles in a front porch? Our Advice

Hi Carolyn, Being porcelain, they can be used externally, and the R10 anti-slip texture will help with slip resistance in wet conditions, but we would always recommend obtaining a sample to ensure suitability for your project. They can be laid onto existing tiles, but before fixing, you need to ensure there are no loose tiles, and that they are thoroughly cleaned. Then prime with a slurry coat made from 1 part SBR primer and 1 part adhesive, leave to dry and tile with the same adheisve: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/toolshed-preparation-products-palace-tilers-primer-1-litre https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/toolshed-tile-adhesive-kwik-flex-grey-floor-tile-adhesive If you require any further assistance, please contact our sales team on 01536 314730 and they will be more than happy to assist you.
