Q & A
Hi Deborah, These Tiles Have an unlimited number of face variations. Kind Regards, Walls and Floors.
Hi Thomas Yes, we would always recommend using a decoupling membrane when fitting tiles over underfloor heating. Kind Regards Walls and Floors
Hi Adrain Yes, these tiles cna be used on the walls in a shower but we wouldn't recommend them as a floor in a shower as they don't have an anti-slip rating so we cannot confirm how safe they would be in a wetroom environment. Kind Regards Walls and Floor
Good Afternoon Antony, Thank you for your query. The design of these tiles is on a 1000x2000mm canvas, meaning we can obtain an unlimited number of random face variations obtained from these measurements. Many Thanks, Walls and Floors
Hi Vicky As the colour cannot be matched exactly, the two most common colours are medium grey, which is relatively standard for most floor tiles, or brown, which although darker than the tile, will pick out the deeper shades within the wood grain. We can provide samples of out Norcros 4 Into 1 Grout range, and would advise obtaining a sample tile, along with a selection of grout colours to compare before making your final decision: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/norcros-4-into-1-grout If you wish to discuss your project in more detail or to arrange samples or a quotation, please call our sales team on 01536 314730 or request a call-back via the link below, and they will be more than happy to help you. https://ideas.wallsandfloors.co.uk/request-a-callback Regards Walls And Floors
Hi Vicky, These tiles are porcelain so can be used externally, but as they do not have a slip resistance rating, will provide minimal grip in wet conditions. For external use we would recommend and R11 anti-slip rating, such as that offered by the anti-slip version of our Vintage Wood Planks range: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/vintage-wood-plank-tiles If you would like to discuss other possible ranges, please call our sales team on 01536 314730 and they will be more than happy to help you. Regards Walls And Floors
Hi Dan, Tiles like most flooring materials can expand and contract with changes in temperature. Therefore a grout line is required as a buffer. It is also used for hygiene purposes to prevent dirt getting between and behind the tiles. The recommended minimum grout width is 3mm. Regards Walls And Floors
