Description
Description
Create a statement floor in your bathroom, kitchen, hallway or lounge with these striking Scintilla Paprika Tiles. They have a vintage monochrome design, with aged-effect orange and white star-shaped patterns. Made from durable ceramic, these tiles have a matt finish with a grid scored into the surface, which you grout into. They're perfect for creating a vintage scheme in an interior space.
Grouting into the scored grid
These tiles have a grid scored into their surface. Once you grout these scored lines, each tile looks like four separate tiles. We recommend using 2mm tile spacers between tiles for a grout line consistent with the scored line. When it comes to which grout to use, it comes down to your own personal taste, but customers tend to use a mid grey colour from our Mapei Ultracolour Plus Tile Grout range.

Q & A
Hi Vicky, Yes, these tiles can be used on walls. They will need to be laid with a cement-based adhesive as opposed to a ready-mixed one. Kind regards, Walls and Floors
Hi Philip, The Scintilla range is only available in a 450x450 size.
Hi Kay Thanks for your query. These tiles should not be used outside as being ceramic they are not frost resistant. You would need to use a natural stone or porcelain tile. Kind regards Walls and Floors
Hi Beth Thanks for your query. These tiles will be fine to use in and around a hearth A flexible adhesive and grout will need to be used. For the adhesive, I'd suggest https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/toolshed-tile-adhesive-kwik-flex-grey-floor-tile-adhesive and whichever colour grout you'd like to use from either of these ranges https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/norcros-4-into-1-grout https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/mapei-ultracolour-plus-grout Kind regards Walls and Floors
Hi Garrett, Ready-mix adhesive are not suitable for tiles in this size. We would recommend using Uniflex White Wall & Floor Tile Adhesive 20kg ID 15557.
Hi Emma, Unfortunately, these tiles would not be suitable for an external project. We would advise looking for a similar alternative in Porcelain instead of Ceramic. Kind regards,
Hi Esha These tiles are flooring grade ceramic, which makes the very heat resistant and fine for use on fire surrounds. We would recommend fixing with a suitable heat resistant adhesive, such as the palace heat resist: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/palace-heat-resistant-tile-adhesive-10-kg If you wish to discuss your project in more detail or to arrange samples or a quotation, please call our Sales Team on 01536 314730, and they will be more than happy to help you.
